Code for Good

Together with the Danish Red Cross, KMD has created the 32-hour hackathon Code for Good.

For the inaugural Code for Good, more than 50 KMD developers, business experts and UX specialists met with Red Cross experts in October 2016 to tackle five real life challenges from the Red Cross.

The challenges spanned from helping volunteer visiting friends in Denmark to creating a disaster management system which would work in an offline scenario.

The winners won 50.000 DKK which were subsequently donated to the Red Cross Disaster Prevention Fund.

KMD will host the next version of Code for Good in the fall 2017.
