KMD and Eye4Talent enter strategic partnership to strengthen sports clubs' talent development with data
Sports data is a rapidly growing business area in the IT company KMD, and today the sports data company Eye4Talent Technologies becomes part of the KMD Group. With the new partnership agreement, KMD is responsible for the development, operations, and sale of Eye4Talent's software. The partnership aims to expand the range of data solutions for the professional sports world, while the international perspectives move closer.
The large IT company KMD and the start-up company Eye4Talent have had a close cooperation for over a year as data partners to a number of professional sports clubs in the Danish super league. By joining forces in the same organization, the benefits are greater for both parties, and KMD's strategic focus on sports data is further cemented.
The partnership agreement means that Eye4Talent will move into KMD headquarters. From the new location in Ballerup, Denmark, they will complement KMD's existing offerings to customers in the world of sports.
Sports clubs' talent development in focus
In the super league club FC Nordsjælland, the tool is used to structure data in scouting and recruitment processes as well as for player profiling within talent development.
"The tool helps us with a range of tasks ranging from ensuring a structured approach in our scouting setup to working with our internal player development. Recruiting players to the first team is extremely costly and often associated with risks. Therefore, we aim to be able to assess the potential of players from an early onset. Through the platform, we can ensure the right structure and insights into the reported with visualization, making it easily accessible. It gives us the insights to develop tomorrow's talents in our own environment," says Jacob Bøtker, Head of Lower Academy from FC Nordsjælland.

Sports data in different setups
KMD already offers a solution with the players' mental characteristics and personality development at its core – i.e. KMD People Success. In addition, sponsors, processes, fan engagement and business operations are handled in the solution KMD Clubtimiser. These two existing solutions are well complimented by the possibilities offered by Eye4Talent, says Anders Dahl from KMD.

In addition to 11 customers in Denmark, Eye4Talent has customers in Poland, Norway, Sweden, Slovenia and Canada. The international business potential can be further boosted with KMD, as KMD is already providing sports data solutions outside the home market in Denmark, most recently to the German handball club THW Kiel.
