Regarding the handling of COVID-19 in KMD
The situation with COVID-19, also known as the corona virus, is developing all the time. At KMD, we are continuously monitoring the situation and following the instructions from relevant authorities. It is KMD’s responsibility to secure that our customers do not get affected by the situation. That is why we have created a Task Force with focus on upholding our critical deliveries and our employee’s health.
KMD has created a Task Force across relevant functions in KMD who meets daily to discuss updates on current policies, initiatives, communication efforts etc. Furthermore, KMD are in close dialogue with our business partners and suppliers about their actions regarding the continuation of our deliveries. We are communicating with our managers and employees daily about which precautions one must take, including rules regarding quarantine, meetings etc.
It is KMD’s responsibility to secure that our customers do not get affected by the situation. If KMD must activate our contingency plan with focus on upholding critical deliveries due to a worsening of the situation, it is our assessment that KMD’s customers can be comfortable with our ability to maintain business critical deliveries.
At this moment, our deliveries have not been affected by the situation. Though, we are in dialogue with our customers about postponing courses and similar events should it be necessary.
Due to the latest development, KMD will not host or participate in any physical meetings unless it is absolutely necessary. We will host or participate through phone, skype or similar instead.
