TDC Group and KMD enter into a new agreement on mainframe operation
Outsourcing: After a tendering round, TDC Group has entered into a new agreement with the Danish IT Group KMD on the operation of TDC’s mainframe platform. The two major technology operators will continue this cooperation for a further five years. KMD sees this agreement as confirmation of the good cooperation and its steadily increasing position in the business segment.
The Danish IT Group KMD will operate the mainframe platform for the telecom group, TDC Group. This is the result of the tendering round just held by TDC Group. The agreement between KMD and TDC Group will run for the next five years, with an option for renewal. Previously, this task was handled in cooperation with Tata Consultancy Services, TCS, but from now on KMD will be handling all operational tasks for the mainframe platform.
At TDC Group, there is satisfaction with the new agreement.

Earlier this year, KMD entered into a number of new agreements with such companies as GF Forsikring, Banedanmark and RSA Group.
